FireFlyz New Hand Baggage Policy 2011 Posted: 10 Apr 2011 08:25 PM PDT According to Fireflyz website, from April 1, 2011; all over-sized, overweight or extra hand baggage found at boarding gate will be checked in and being charged RM50. Meanings that a hand baggage that exceeds 7KG or bigger than 56cm x 36cm x 23cm size dimensions will be checked in and incurred extra charge RM50. How to Save More & Avoid Being Charged RM50 for an Overweight Hand Baggage Firefly Airlines has offered two baggage saving ways for you. The first way is to buy Standard Set of Services where you will get 20KG checked baggage allowance, meal and seat selection for RM48 only. The second way is to buy 20KG checked baggage online for RM30. Both methods will charged you less than RM50 and can save your money as well. Please be reminded that each piece of checked baggage cannot exceed 35KG and always buy checked baggage online instead of buying from counter to save more baggage fees.
