| Malaysia Government Grants Free Visa Entry for Taiwanese in 2011 Posted: 15 Apr 2011 08:25 PM PDT In conjunction of promoting trade and tourism of Malaysia, the Malaysia Government has decided to offer Free Visa Entry to all Taiwan Passport holders for a maximum period of 15 days (not extendable). The traveler must have a confirmed return flight ticket to return to country of origin or another country (besides Malaysia) This special privilege is granted to Taiwan passport holders to enter Malaysia for business and/or tourism by these entry/exit points only: 1) Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 2) Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) 3) Sultan Ismail International Airport, Senai, Johor Bahru 4) Penang International Airport, Penang 5) Langkawi International Airport, Kedah 6) Kota Kinabalu International Airport, Sabah 7) Kuching International Airport, Sarawak 8) Sultan Iskandar Custom, Immigration and Quarantine Complex, Johor Bahru 9) Sultan Abu Bakar Complex, Johor Bahru This is a good news for all Taiwanese as the implementation of this facility is with immediate effect since 18 March 2011. Since 2002, Taiwan has allowed Malaysians Visa-Free entry and it helps to boost economic and cultural relations between both countries.
